Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using BudgetLuma, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Description of Service
BudgetLuma is a mobile finance application for iOS that allows users to organize money into dedicated wallets, record transactions with categories and multi-currency support, and manage shared wallets with other users.
User Accounts
You must create an account to use BudgetLuma. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Free and Premium Plans
BudgetLuma offers a free plan with core features, including 2 wallets, transactions, built-in categories, and multi-currency support. Premium features, including unlimited wallets and custom exchange rates, are available through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms. Premium access is determined by the backend based on your subscription status.
Wallets and Shared Wallets
Wallets are personal by default. You may invite other users to shared wallets and assign roles (owner, editor, viewer). The wallet owner controls access and permissions. All access rights are enforced server-side. You are responsible for managing who has access to your shared wallets.
Financial Data Disclaimer
BudgetLuma is a money organization tool. It is not a bank, financial advisor, or investment service. All wallet balances are computed from transactions entered by users. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-entered data or for any financial decisions made based on information displayed in the app.
Currency Conversion
Exchange rates displayed in BudgetLuma are sourced from a third-party provider and are provided for informational purposes only. Rates may not reflect real-time market conditions. BudgetLuma is not a currency exchange service and does not execute financial transactions.
Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting privacy@budgetluma.com. Upon deletion, all your wallets, transactions, categories, shared wallet memberships, and account information will be permanently removed. This action cannot be undone.
Limitation of Liability
BudgetLuma is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or service interruptions.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. Continued use of BudgetLuma after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
